How to configure HTC phone

How to get started

STEP 1: click start >>Goto setting >> connection >>option >> new/edit

STEP 2: name >> use anything you like may be the name of the network for this acticle we will use mtn as our point of reference

STEP 3: access point    name or APN >>web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net

STEP 4: IP>>10.199.212.2

User name: web

Password: web

STEP 5: home/host >> mtnonline.com

Tick advance

http IP: 10.199.212.2

Port: 8080

Socket IP: 10.199.212.2

Port: 1080

Shtml IP: 10.199.212.2

Wap: 10.199.212.2

Port: 8080 >>tick Tcp in IP put 10.199.212.2, then save and activate it

STEP 5: goto setting, you will see something like network or gprs connection, just use CHAP 16 or PAP 8, just try the one that work on your phone but CHAP 16 should work for the new HTC
