How To Configure Java Phone With Mtn

Knowing that this is easy,some people still find it difficult to set/configure their phone to browse when it is not configure automatically by the network provider.
in order to solve this problem ,i came up with this post.just follow the step below,you will see how easy it is to configure your java phone:

..Step1 Go to your menu,click on settings,then configuration,and then personal configuration.
..step2 select options,click add new,click web,account name,you put mtn since we are using mtn here as an example,go to homepage,put wap.mtnonline.com,username and password,put web.
..Step3 Use prefer access point,click no,access point settings,enable proxy:proxy address,put 10.199.212.2,proxy put:8080
..Step4 Then go to bearer settings,click packet data access point put web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
..Step Then activate to browse with your web.
NOTE:to use the settings on your application,activate it on default with all application.
